Welcome to Holy Family Academy. We thank you for your interest in our school, and we hope our web site offers you an understanding of the Academy’s vital mission of leading young people to the truth.

The idea of the Academy was born in response to the Church’s call to parents to live out their God-given vocation as the “primary educators” of their children, first and foremost, in the Faith. Holy Family Academy was founded, therefore, to assist parents in forming the minds, hearts, and souls of their children in the likeness of Christ, thereby leading them to the end for which they were created—eternal life.

Holy Family Academy provides an education in excellence, the study of that which is excellent in human attainment. By coming to know the great “architects” of Western Civilization, namely the outstanding writers and thinkers, saints and artists who created Christian culture through the centuries, the student will discover the pattern of excellence that is our Catholic intellectual heritage. In this way—with diligent effort--the student is drawn to achieve excellence in all areas of life.

The saving truths of the Catholic Faith form the bedrock upon which the Academy’s classical curriculum is built. The study of the Catholic Faith, reflected in the treatment of every subject, gives order and unity to the curriculum, becoming the frame of reference for viewing, interpreting, and evaluating every subject studied. The student, thereby, achieves a unified view of knowledge and is encouraged in the formation of truly Christian character.

Students find a unique environment at Holy Family Academy. Under the direction of teachers who are concerned about their eternal souls, as well as their minds, students discover joy and challenge in learning, reverence and piety in prayer, friendship and support in the academic community. They study with classmates who are respectful and friendly, and who share their faith and their desire to learn. The Academy is an environment where students grow in knowledge, faith, and virtue.
