Some of the most valuable donations HFA receives are the time given graciously by family and community members to help us accomplish the mission with the equity of their sweat. It adds up quickly!
Lunchtime helpers, assisting at events, cleaning, sharing your skills or handiwork - it all enriches the life of HFA and helps to keep the operational costs low.
Let us know what you’re able to help with!
Here is a list of current opportunities:

Help with lunchroom activities, such as pizza distribution and student cleaning assessment.
Frees up teachers to actually taste their lunch and be available for academic issues.

Organize a social event for a homeroom.
Assist with a field trip or afterschool/weekend get-together.
Coordinate teacher gifts and support.
Social time is a key student experience, but volunteers can take these items on to help teachers maintain their academic focus, and be able to enjoy their students as a fellow participant.

Assist with setup and clean up of school-wide events, such as:
Oktoberfest (Oct)
Trivia Night (Oct)
Auction Gala (Nov)
Advent Concert (Dec)
Sports Snack Shop (Dec - Feb)
Spirit Week (Feb)
Class Field Trips (Mar - May)
This makes it possible to host fun events and maintain their affordability and the resource stewardship of the school as a whole.
